Dew Bark On Poet Tree Rings

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

Was told I had to quit Poetry in America. So I wrote Poetry on my own dime, somewhere in America , upon my own time.

The thing in America to get ahead you must follow and kiss someones behind, but I am a poet that must lead in my own Poetic path. Therefore I am guaranteed obscurity, and be labeled a Liberal HeArt HeArtMosphere Poet.In other words I Bee one of those Anonymous Poets of Rhyme.

If I do not comment, it is because I have doubts, and am insecure. The world of words has secluded this poet that must write to an empty audience.

If I was Republican I would be a long lost dead poet.

Dew Bark On Poet Tree Rings

So deep, thy vibrations, vibrate the depth within vowel cord chords
Dye stain consonants, resonate thy character of pure crystal Poet Tree
To furrow seeded, fertile words, covered amidst layers Bee True Love
Each line cradled, in the womb, giving life - to Poetry Wry HeaArtBeats.

Thy poets, are composite creations, of core conceptual compositions
UniQue UniVerse’s blossoming, upon pages - Bee rich rhyme depositions
Thy Heart be thy HeArt of Literary ArtMoSphere’s HeArtMosphere
Rooted to thy Bard’s soul, dye Troubadour does harmonize melodies.

The morning doves awakes, Mother Nature’s nurtured night Literature
Songbird serenades sounds that abound alight sunrise sunbeam hues
Brings us each day’s blessing, as spry sunbeams spread divine peace
That Tranquility that Humanity, Bee rooted in Dew Bark of Poet Tree Rings.

The I in my eyes, hears the ear’s stereo sounds, sense fresh fragrant verses
Bud bright blossoms bluebonnet hues amidst blue cyan prancing wry hues
What is Poetry but HeArtBeats amplified onto rippling parchment lucid imagery
Oh dance with me, Bee barefoot fancy free, amid floating wildflower meadows.

Oh Spring, yes dew Spring spirits that levitate Poetry’s divine purpose - adrift
“We are Blessed” to write the wind’s currents that tap dances, fingers - aloft
“We Be Loved” that TraVerses within Our UniQue poetic stamina minds - alight
“We Bee Poets” bearing stamen stature pollenating blessed words in Divine - Amen.

‘Whom am I’, with set of eyes, ears with nose that knows wildflower spry smells
‘Whom am I’, does not grey matter. IT is about “YOUR” gray matter blossoming forth.
Poet Tree with I alone, does not flourish, to seed another budding leaf - Poet mindset
That what rings, Bee aloud Poetry in its diversity that Dew Bark On Poet Tree Rings

Yes, the blooming of spring and the sound of birds mating and starting up their nesting families make the old gray matter feel alive and poetic once again.
