Burlington Full Moon
Carquinez haunting, eerie quivering glow.
Silvery highlights rippling chilling tentacles.
October Port Costa shadowed damp chills
Moving ghostly images upon the Burlington.
Creaking aging floors of moaning sounds
Breathing walls inhaling that full moon,
Creepy crawlers touching imaginations
Feeling soft skin raise goose bump fears.
Aging mirrors so mysteriously different,
Look into them, falling in to there spell,
As they envelope your surroundings,
Whispering cocoon of vaporous pasts.
Moonbeams smothering fog of darkness
Moving upon grave feelings of presence.
Images of trench coats and bridal veils,
Looking eyes piercing throats silent.
What reality lies on a Burlington full moon?
As the floor moves under your imagination,
Sleeping in moving rooms of wedding bliss,
And those occasional nightmare silhouettes.
Welcome to Port Costa’s vibrating vibes,
Small town charm of earth entering inside
A core being of peaceful inner tranquility.
But beware of hallucinations of shadows by
Prior permanent corporal residents sharing it!
