Wallflower Poet

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

Grew up on the other side of the American Dream, always the Wallflower, who was Drafted to serve as a working class pawn.

Life does not often trump over that crass master class line; if in America, you try being Democracy free spirited, yea wilt be slain stained in Camelot bullet riddled ricochet poetic pain.

The best result is too dye Anonymous, remembered as a Conservative, want a Bee Servant.

Thee Bee a Poet Knock Knot that wouldst naught time surrender thy rhymes hallow Bark a gist Poet's bite welts that frustrate morbid Mortician Politicians Lair of Liars.

Wallflower Poet

Naught To Be
Never Too Bee
Tick Tocks Aloud
Naught To Be
Never Too Bee
Drip Drops Buzzing Lightning
Strikes could should off Rhyme,
Bee come Thunder ring,
Garish worn-out decaying tears
Knock be hollow,
We The People lone cast a bout,
Knot wry wounded,
Would torn up side down,
Daring too bee called American Democracy Poet
Time knot be-qeaths future naught rhyme redemption
Being nevermore bled hallow,
Dream bye-gone fallow believer
Blessed evermore - for ever more,
Addressing Wallflower Poet dire retribution
Fore ever more blunt felt,
Welted shell shorn - empty casing
Grave mark coffin dost door,
Barb Wake echo - ajar still dying cries
RIP TAPS dyed head stone etched -
Petrified Wallflower American Society.
Naught Too Be Heard
Never Too Bear Poetic Breezes
Poet Tree Shorn Branches
Shed invisible veldt tear drops

Naught To Be Birth Felled
Never More Too Bee Nectar
Star Spangled Banner Matter
Naught To Be Butt Slain Alive
Never Moore Too Bee Freedom Flight
Smatters thy Liberal Democracy Poets
Plastered sized Camelot Wallflower wraith
Too large to become miniscule nothing
Too small to ever amount - to elevate something
But ALL Ways, Liberal Democracy’s Guardian Sentinels
Of Declaration of Independence HeART Beat aflutter
Hearing Francis Scott Key - strike Poet Tree chords
Naught To Be but a Bard ReincarNation Redeemer
Never Too Bee, but this Troubadour Knight Dreamer
So sown miniscule - yeast seeds fertile furrow future
Alas America Alliterated Alive
Too Bee American Lit creativity
Freed of Wallflower conformed shackles
Too Bee Star Spangled Banner Democracy
Francis Scott Key NOTE Guardian Sentinels

(We The People exist Star Spangled, lest our Banner words dye.)

Naught To Be
Never Too Bee
An American

Poets always write from their hearts and souls in how they feel. Too sad about the politics in America. There are just too many sheepy people who follow a fool and not enough sane people.
