Musicians weather rich Time beats,
While poet become bald in Rhyme

You know you are good at reaching out to people
The Russian, Chinese, Turkish, Republicans
And oh Yeah, Fox News say, “Stop the Spiel”

Learned this there is naught One Republican
That can create “The Miracle on 34th Street”
Maybe “The Grinch (Scrooge) stole Wall Street.”

If we can not make poetic pun about our politicians
Being laughed at like morticians then comedy is Dead

Have you heard of the mortician embalmer
Who wanted to become a pompous politician
He had to give up his clients, or register them

There are two ways to win elections in the US
Use Hate powerful divisive Uniting bias element
Or use Humor the crack America up - Will Roger style
Not a politician, Will knew how to put them in place
In one hell of laugh, Will sent their tall tales a flapping
Mooning with backdoor, showing their Political crASSES.

To write poetry, one starves, like a songwriter in Nashville
