THS 1966 Poet

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

In a womb tomb room, upon verse writing depressions that people say "It is all about you," being me, hibernating a lone.

Then why do I feel like hell runneth, over Christmas GREENe talk that they stole the Love and deposited Holocaust Hate for another Vietnam Conflict.

Part of healing is to vent frustration out that may, further condemn you, as "It is all about you," quakes inside a room tomb womb taking away thy names.

I feel like this school, I went to, being demolished that not one is left standing, any more Tallmadge school system, it is like you being demolished, without a name, RIP apart.

All I want for Christmas, is the right to use my birth name, I graduated to serve my country in 1966, that Free Speech have taken away.

THS 1966 Poet

Within a womb tomb room is buried a name
Evolving out the HeArtMosphere Poet rhyme
Started in a name, with IA name, on a draft card
Graduation into a Vietnam theater enlistment.

How that birth name weathered Free Speech torn
Wanting truth to prevail over politicians morticians
They feed us Pancake uranium fiction misinformation
That makes America, be preludes to Vietnam, wrath ghost.

For the Holocaust started with Cain slaying Abel
And it be perpetuated through One Man dye-nasty
Where human blood stains Caesar upon Roman Empire
That Germany had One Man that cremated his innocence.

That is why history is rewritten by conservative religion
That write denials claiming privilege, then erasing atrocities
Squeaky clean, so next blood bath, can proceed post haste
Poets receive China treatments, in poetry dominoes falling.

So dost the names, becoming living Dead Poet Society
Timber, timer dost dye birth-name to condemn one alone
“Hearing it is all about you,” as power tries to silence thee
As one gets terminated for poetry, to sail retirement woes.

Woe be me, writing tears, within moist fabric, being torn up
Side down, riding the roller coaster that twist, and turns around
Depression wound too tight, sleepless, headless knight mare rides
Me head, me head rolling stone, cannot take no more - righteousness.

Time to change dye name, some more - that the Franklin look alike,
Needs to write “The Circle The Center The Compass The Spokes”
That graduated a poet with a birth name, as a wallflower follower
But alas after 55 years, he is just this THS 1966 Poet, pauper pawn
Who did graduate into Vietnam conflict, and never recovered his name.

You sure didn't, PTSD, followed by a firing by a German company benefiting from American buyers sealed your fate and made you take on the persona of Benjamin Franklin to challenge all that is not right in our democratic republic.

To fight your depression, you must vent through poetry. If all it does is he "all about me," that's all right. Others have other axes to grind.
