Adrift Silken Flute Reflections

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

In the womb room tomb hibernation, Sandy sent me 06 Mary's time to bloom Song for Native flute. In this poem are these Silken Flute Reflections.

In the second version, I simply added The Circle The Center The Compass The Spokes for a Tallmadge dedication that I can imagine hearing flutists from its center HeART.

Adrift Silken Flute Reflections

Whisper still, the quiver quiet, floating rhyme reflections
As a flute sail sounds, alight wind’s breath sense inflection
Silken wings dew feather verse, adrift solitude temperance
Wherein reflective spirits, be found flute’s tranquil conception

Oh silken sails, set magical inner peace, aloft stellar wings radiation
Where velvet verse, mirror time inflections, notes still solace terse
Hear ring divine flute sound, its sensual harmonic, musical clear clarity
Where flutes magical bliss blanket bee, Adrift Silken Flute Reflections

Blessed bee Flutists, with solace silken sounds, who germinate peace within our soul’s.

I especially like the haunting tunes of the native American flautists. The tones are so rich and clear and blend in with nature so well.
