Another high mark in your poetry and a very true parody of the Lord's Prayer. Yes, we the people must guard against misuse and interpretation of the United States Constitution for purposes of overthrowing the constituted federal government. That document was written 250 years ago when the young colonies were threatened by England and needed relief. Today, those principles like equality and the First Amendment rights, still stand. But among those rights, is the right to, "alter and abolish it." Not overthrow the government by a coup or insurrection. But by constitutional process rather than misinterpretation of the Bill of Rights.

If the Constitution will continue to have meaning in the future, it must be amended to address the needs of the people, all of the people, all of the time.
