Spinning A Roulette Mirror

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

Mirror, mirror, as eye look into you, and spin you this morning, what future message will challange thee today?

Think people would love to spin a mirror insight, before they go off to work. Picking a color to suit their mood, then spinning to get message to ponder a day with.

I think, it would be nice to have a roulette mirror to spin in the morning to ponder and wander with during the day.

Mirror Fore Sight Insight Reflection, how cool to spin a mirror roulette, as you get ready to tackle a day. What if one could work with developer and develop a insight mirror.

Spinning A Roulette Mirror

Round and around it dost spin
Where it lands only time knows
Whence it shows daily fortune
Mid gears revolve evolve thy future.

Upon morning fortune cookie be spun
One twirls the mirror looking within its
Reflection that stay stationary in place
As mirror surface rotates for answers.

Center spins spot, growing at slow pace
While circumference spins the fast gait
That slows, slows, to finally stop still
“Thy path today wilt have twain depth.”
Writing thy forks poetic journey destiny.”

Better than yesterday’s “Thy wilt be nothing,
if one would could should procrastinate.”
Why that stung like a BEE, To Be something
Rather than nothing to still a Roulette Mirror.

Can not wait to spin the morrow fore cast spell
One needs to keep motivating temple lobes current
Every day challenged, hemisphere become inflection
Mirror, oh mirror, what magic will you spin on today.

Note: Eye imagine between eyes, a 2 to 3 ft. Mirror, with pegs on outside that one grabs to spin the mirror around possibilities, in a maze of expectations. To land upon a position, giving a daily message to ponder. How many would love a mirror that spins a fortune cookie slip message to wander a day with?

Mirror could be stationary, with revolving time ring with maybe, a color to pick for the day. As it spins and come to rest to give one a challenge, a message, or a daily puzzle. How many would love to spin a fortune, in front of a mirror of imagination?

Mirror, mirror as one puts on makeup, or check one’s appearance, what will the day bring on, without cracked makeup?

Glad you moved into new territory. What I find of fortunes and fortune cookies is that the pronouncements are always universal so they applied to nearly everyone and generally are positive and showing some growth in character. Life is not like that, but the fortune cookie looks at life that way--positive and polite.
