From birth we climb the latter ladder, until, we reach the eternity rung.

Poem Artwork

Whom Bee Dye Morass

Latter be mime
to climb chimes
clinging a lone echo
eye shadows fallow
that vanquished rhyme
waterfall veldt RIP
ping mirror cries
dew twain the depth
morasses of quick
silver slip linings
that coagulate choke holds
coffin clinging static sheets
that suffocate sleep depravation
a gist words winding backward
awash voids repeat repeating
anguish rolling amid tides
trapped ashore pick pockets
self worth bee petrified inside
stone age reflections
time dissolving futile future
leaving skeletal fame
bones decomposing a lone
eternity

Your words tell me something I agree with. We start that climbing hoping to make it to the top. Working hard and what happens? "The Man"! "The Man" is right there with his hand right in your pocket! "trapped ashore pick pockets" came across like that to me. We fight the storm on the waves and get picked dry..............even death is expensive!! Oh, you really get me going, David Lester Young!

Love ya!

You summed up generally what it's like to reach the end of the line when everything is falling apart physically and there's no turning back until we all cross that line into whatever comes after for us. Quite grim, I must say the way it is written. A poet's Requiem like Beethoven's opus to his demise.

Bonjour David Lester Young ! You said it all in a tintinnabulating nutshell: 'a gist of words winding backward/awash voids repeat repeating/' - the BIG BOUNCE - the no-end of the road Eternity... 'a skeletal fame' for the ???
