Most days anymore, my mind arises muddled, as to who I am To Be, and why am I such a lackluster poet that must question so much of dye self. As to why they exist, amidst verse writing down petrified lines that at time seem dormant, unable to blossom, on their own terms of cognitive resilience.

Maybe I should, would, could be a farmer, but then I would have to weather; weather, or naught the harvest will come in, wear tears will wetter success, or failure - year after year, there after.

I died my words dye today, amid the stains of pain, furrow ring fallow lines that burrow parchment fiber. Only time will show it the seeds blooms forth mediocrity.

Oh Too Bee - Mediocrity Personified

Mourning
abounding alight
murky muddled
mid memory
Awash
redundancy refrains
that quash question
zero zeal
Lackluster
maim-stains melatonin
melodrama mediocrity
Daylight
sleep walking gaze
daze blank stare
strut statement

What am eye to eye,
comes back,
ear to ear,
empty faced
Hollow fallow thoughts,
never finished,
nor concur concluded
Swiss cheese
gaping holes expanse
mass cerebral Confucius
Stops
mid sense tense,
erase ring exist tense
written over

Drawn,
dawn dishwashing yawn
rub ring reign bow
eyes from tears
Grey underlines
dew swollen words,
flood torrid emotion
amiss dry
Creeks
deprived of moisture
resilience reaction,
redaction be solemn
Pain with no
way to drain
the wraith wrath,
tempestuous knot
to be.

Pawn of time frame
rock ability
rocking chair
ruts in sound
place mats
Going no where
marching in step
cadence pounds
head ache bound
Left lobe
to right lobe-ring
pendulum metronome
tick tocks frames
Repeat
repeat-ring echo
refrains pain,
“Who am eye to eyes –
a lone.”
An Opaque mirror
UniQue self-reflection.

First of all, I sense that you are insomniac. It's a rough ride and give you a lot of credit for the messages in your wordology, Poet!

Love ya!

I hope others, besides me, are reading your wordsmithing here. As far as your personal poems go, this one according to my jaundice view of so many poems by others, is a personal best and says a lot about poets who age. In your case, one with a very special style.

Keep on turning better ones out like this. At some point, shortly after you die, you will suddenly become famous for what you've written here, if not today, then sometime in the future.
