Who Am I
Alone in pain
Feeling isolated, by myself hurting inside
These self-inflicted, scab verbiage wounds
That dire stain sensation, lying deep within
That will not heal blisters, but festers prone
The road potholes, daily challenge to cope
Never to give up dye roller coaster, writing
The character of vowels around consonant
Elocution that must seed purpose to life.
Who am I
Eye to eye
Ear to ear
My hear ring echo says
I am a frustrated Poet
I am a frustrated Poet
I am a frustrated Poet…………….
In every day FRUSTRATION.

Where does the ending
build up the beginning again
…….and again
C)
Toward the end,
we look back
toward the beginning,
to see if we accomplished,
anything in between.

But I am intrigued by your image. Certainly some kind of Freudian slip because it doesn't someone praying. ;-)

Sometimes as we look back, we all may feel that we have not accomplished anything - not in a big way that could be remembered or perhaps be spoken fondly or loudly by others, but I think by being ourselves and living the life that we had lived, we have in some small ways contributed ourselves to the world and others. In that way, I'm glad about the life I have chosen to live, although I have not made a big statement of success.
But being successful can only be felt within one's heart. It has nothing to do in the eyes of others. How others view and evaluate us is their business, not ours.
