Poem Artwork

Eye Bee Hollow

Storming echoes
seer tear
Death Valley
Scorch terrain
seam emotional drains
Parched parchment
shear cements cracks
Finite into fissure
deep sheer
Grand Canyon

Hollow quakes
a lone chokehold
grasp gasp
Petrified flair
suffocate fetal
position possession
Procession progresses
still
monumental monument
Sand blown sandstone
pedestal plaque
pic buildup.

Guitar string-less preys
stairway to heaven
still bravado
Muted mime blind
insight shallow
depression rejection
Pinpricks eye to I
wilted dust thorns
Gabriel shorn horn
Evap evaporate
to space vacuum deposit
dire deposition

Wry dost thee
exist strip naked
mid emotion
motion lotion
Varnish vanquished
Crème de la crème
dessert desert grit
Feasting drought draft
skeletal bone key
deposit lock box
Encrusted rusk rust
grime crime
Poetry Lit
addict addiction

Hasp thy no HeArt
Too Bee
famished cavernous
Confucius abyss
China finger puzzled
taunt tight wrought
mind bound Lit lesion
“Dave is not Here”
there ~
knot knock naught
anywhere found
But in the butts
bud buds
blooming Poet’s,
”I Musk Be Hallow.”

If I were to view your poem humorously, I would say that hollow eye disease would be a terrible thing to waste. On the other hand it seems to outline all of the ills that come from aging all wrapped up in one poem.
