I don't give a shekel about whether or not dove's dung is a plant or not. But we do have lots of doves around here to experiment with. Supposedly wise people back in those days would analyze entrails to find out all kinds of mysterious things happening. But more practically, looking at dung, in other words, bird poop, can tell the viewer what they were eating or not. Much more practical than staring at entrails.
But if you search a little deeper, you will find out that someone has taken that biblical number and calculated, semi-correctly, what a message like that would be a worth today. Isn't that wonderful? Probably. Probably not.
