Gently Wrapped Feelings

The best sleep anyone can have.

You sleep next to me so tender

That my mind wanders with the memories of you

As I gently touch you

The thoughts are refreshed of how we met

At first you resisted but as I talked

You melted into me

So warm was the conversation

That the stars shined special that night

In your eyes reflecting into mine

And upon getting that special smile

I knew you were a part of me

So now as we have gone down our trails

Some alone but most together

We have joined inside in that warmth

That only two special people can share

In the thoughts within each other

And the things shared as in a moment

Of touching you ever so tender

And as you wake up to me

I say I love you so

And with that smile you again capture me

As you fall asleep in the cuddle of love

That warms my soul so

Good night my sweet

I will wrap around you

To invite you into my sweet dreams
