Too Old 2 Cry

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

MB said, this Poet could not write Poetry at any time.

Now then Microsoft decided this Poet could not receive personal Poetry Email, USPS snail mail poetry delivery.

How easy it is to make someone disappear, when they question in what Lies in Our Lair Government.

Or yeah, Facebook and Twitter social media filters Democracy and Diversity.

So I guess one posts hoping some angel delivery will share, "Too Old 2 Cry." But then there is the Pied Piper reality of Republic Can Corporate Ban Poet and Poetry.

Too Old 2 Cry

Young man withered
away eons ago
Once upon a time
weathered wrought
Could have been
a fairy tale beginning
Should be poetry
Lark Cove bungalow.

Would instead be
room womb tomb cry
Shrill heart murmur
moan muted mime
Wallow wail
drip drop tears,
tear torn worn
Why live barks
dyed craven raven
Poe Tree.

Go to sleep
RIP Van Winkle
pawn of time
Lost piece rhyme
goes around
Tree rings
Tick tock here,
tock tick
gone pendulum
Burrows blacklegged tick
Lyme penetration.

CPAP WOKE
have to really go
to water closet
Or Republic Ban Poet
writing Poe Tee deposit
Either way something
has to come out ~ side
For compost composition
de~comp deposition

Tried to cry,
but why,
must be
still scarecrow
Showing no emotions
in coffin cove enclosure
Lungs breathing in
shrill CPAP
positive pressure
Thank You Snail America
For Your Email Service.

Bah Humbug Goliath can
make anyone disappear
There movement moment
erased gone
next tick
Buried burial alive
or dead dew RIP
Poet Tree Apart
Skeletal being
lay bleached white,
Too Old To Cry.
