a landscape of ivory, blushed pink
in the fire of your eyes

the silk is too constricting, as rosebuds
reach for the gentle breeze of your hands
and liberating fire of your lips

no, i’m not uncomfortable in my skin
never reticent of the journey
your anxious fingers, playful tongue make
across soft terrain of my feminine map

not reluctant to bare
dangerous curves, gentle hills
and flooded valleys

excited by the way it excites you
when first one strap then the other
slides from my shoulders

i stand before you, with no shame
clothed only in the beauty god gave me
a gift, for your eyes only

my heart skips and my body trembles
to see the obvious yearning of yours
as you rise to greet my gentle persuasion

and reflected in the mirrors of your eyes
i glimpse the creamy nakedness of a woman
loved completely by a man
