It Pleases Me
By La Belle Rouge
it pleases me... immeasurably
to love you freely from my heart
to expect nothing in return
but the love you bear for me
and your ardent expression
of how you want to hold me forever
it gives me comfort, to comfort you
in deep indigo midnights
when the world is silent
and your heart is brushing mine
with the tenderness of butterflies's kisses
it satisfies my romantic hopelessness
to sense your erotic whispers
and low moans of pleasure
borne so lightly on a night wind
only i can feel and hear
it brings me pleasure to imagine
the journeyed caress of your hands
awakening each nuance of my desire
the sweetness of your lips on mine
the hunger of your questing mouth
tasting, devouring all my expanding need
it pleases me to please you
with touches and whispers of love
with lover’s warmth that disperses
the lingering chill of your loneliness
and enfolds you deep within my soul
and i need you, to need me too
to brave the dark, to hold my hand
to span the miles, with loving smiles
it pleases me, like a ship at sea
to sail the calm ocean vast and true
of loving you
Your immeasurable pleasure is but a soft breeze that fans the embers of my dreams...infinity rises square through the tender petals of this most romantic and beautiful write.
Always,
Amor

This is truly exquisite and magnifiscently beautiful.
As beautiful as the billowing clouds on a summer day this poem is a treat to read and savor and even reflect on and hope to aim for in our own relationships and loves. Thank you for sharing such an intimate part of you....
If only a little of that love could drip my way...
Red head, you are the flame that lights my candle.
Well done, very romantic.
