Snowflake
By La Belle Rouge

I am a snowflake
melting against your warm lips
in a storm of need

I am a mild dove
cooing at your window sill
when you tire of war

the rustle of skirts
wandering though your dreams
on rainy nights

when you feel displaced
I am a harbor called home
in a sea of pain

I am simple joy
uncomplicated love
amidst all your confusion

I am a snowflake
borne on a breeze of quietness
in silence of night

11/18/2009 La Belle Rouge

drop on down sweets, lets see now, we could make some snow ice cream out of you, a little cream, vanilla flavoring, no need to add a sweetner cause you got that covered also, keep warm and don't melt until, hugs

Love your picture. I still have my toe shoes hanging in my closet, took tap and ballroom dancing too. It was a fun time. Beautiful, lighthearted sweet words that bring smiles...
