I saw the sun rise in your eyes
and watched bright wonder dawn
as though I was the first woman
you had ever seen naked or touched
with trembling hands in secret places
alone in the cool velvet midnight
the night before….
deft artist’s brushes of your hands
painted me with dark shades of desire
and lively rainbow tints of passion
I blushed pink with the remembrance
of intimate niches your tongue tasted
and so it was…..
I decided there would be many more
long nights before mornings after
nights that dissolve the dull sorrows
of all our sad days into shimmering
ocean voyages of wild starlit wonder
Belle, the ability to vividly recall the magic of love and romance of long ago with that one special person in our lives is a gift to lift us when we grow older - find ourselves deep in the laments of old age - this is a perfect summons to our memories - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

What a stunning effort…. You’ve combined a fantastic photo which almost, (but not quite) does justice to your marvelous words, which in turn, more than do justice to the beautiful music you chose.
This is so well-written that I have no trouble visualizing this scene and actually remembering the trembling of my own hands as they sought out those forbidden secret places. You have brought the first experiences all back to me, Belle, and for that I thank you very much.
