There is a certain sadness to trinkets left behind for the lonely to remember of a brief, but fiery moment of pleasure that, somehow, never returned. Much better for that feeling to be present always in the form of the person staying by one's side.

Our last holiday together before my husband died a few months later..he bought the necklet for me, and now as I hold it, loving memories come flooding back....

We treasure and guard the repertoire of love's most precious gifts. The special night when passion paled the moon and stars. Each recollection of a smile or tender embrace when the world had been cruel and our true love comforted us and made the agony go away. Tender loving care and touches when we were ill and needed special attention, and it was given, a gift of compassion and deepest love.
