This gives one a feeling of being transported to another time and place when life was much simpler then. a little war now and then was a fact of life.....But then thinking about it things haven't changed very much after all.
At least he's home.
Great story.
Who needs a full-length novel when you give us the full cinematic grandeur and the full scope of emotions in just a few, well-wrought lines? Another sigh-inducing narrative from your boundless heart and mind. Such controlled writing, Belle. Masterful use of form. xx
