Have I Told You? "Have I told you I love you?" He asked yes, you confessed, more than once, in words but more so in compassionate, loving deeds I hope you heard when I whispered it to you the shocked sky hasn�t fallen on us, not yet maybe it won�t, maybe it will, and if it does it still won�t change what we felt and said in immaculate moments of unguarded honesty some people are safe to love�.most aren�t only truly beautiful souls, the unselfish ones are worthy of our open trust and affection often my trust was regretfully misplaced walls, stalwart, lofty, safeguard my heart but it is as if you have always been present near to me�. enclosed within my fortress loving friend and confidante to my secrets �

The personage of whom you speak has to be special. Hold it dear with respect and kindness. Such doesn't come along very often... if at all for some.

I think my answer to that question would be� "You don't have to."

For the type of love you describe is one where love is already known and trusted to the point of openness that one does not share with anyone else in the universe. Soulmates don't have to express what they know already.

I have been fortunate to be in a relationship like that for 30 years already. And another 30 years to go. Together we are tackling the problems of getting older, sharing our secrets along the way, like the crazy dream she had last night.
