Sometimes it takes a long journey to find home.

Where I Belong

………………………………………………………………………

Passion beyond description…

As is the depth of my love,

For you…

Filling the calls of lust,

Created by this love we share,

Languishing hearts,

Aching to be filled…

With a sense of belonging.

Truth of intimacy…

Realized,

As souls drift together,

In streams of timeless,

Depths of merger.

Lost in another dimension,

Where raindrops filled,

With whispered coercions,

Shower down upon us,

Forcing us to abandon…

All inhibition.

Tears…

Not of sadness…or joy,

Only of freedom…

Releasing intensity of desire,

A manifestation,

Of touch deprivation…

Created by distance.

Home now…

A thousand kilometers,

From nowhere…

Here above me,

Over and under me…

In my arms.

In you…

Where I belong,

The scent of your skin,

The taste of your moisture…

Wet upon my lips…

And face…

Bring to an end…

A lifelong journey…

As another begins.

The Heart's Way by Rebecca McKeehan

Love is universal and not limited to the most perfect among us. In this collection of romantic short stories and poetry, love comes to those who are decidedly imperfect, who possess very real human flaws, scars, and challenges. Awaiting us as we are.
