tryin' ta learn
ta' play the piano.
goin's kinda' slow.
lots'a touch & go.
glad it ain't a trumpet,
then i'd have ta' blow.
bought me a gee-tar,
too.
with a gee-tar pick.
what i wanna' do
is really kinda' slick.
but, there's a trick...
can't read no music.
the movements make me sea sick.
don't know a quarter note
from a quarter pounder.
be easier if it was just wrote.
know it'd be a better sounder.
only rhythmn's i got's
is in my rhymes.
but, i got the hots
at this times
ta' play,
ta' learn ta' say
my words
in a musical ways.
so i got me a piano.
a gee-tar too's.
never know's
maybe i'll find me a lady
wants ta' sing my blues.
off key
& off time.
play me
& play my rhyme.
that'd be fine.
then maybe,
guess we'd see,
i could get a quarter note
& pound her.
LOL couldnt help but laugh at that last line that poor womanyoure about to poundLOL you are surely a unique poet with a great humor and excellent writing style wonderful job on this one
hahahahahahaha...you get funnier and funnier. Love it. Could hear the twang clearly.
