As Halloween is creeping closer....

Poem Artwork

His silent stalk so powerful
his paws soft as he walks,
the moonlit night’s not very bright
he let’s out a faint ‘Miau'

velvety does his black fur sheen
his eyes are sparkling green,
his long tail twitches excitedly –
‘cause ‘tonight Is Halloween.

A ghostly shadow ‘neath her window
awaits the full moon’s term to peak
purring gently he licks his whiskers
can’t hardly wait to watch her sleep.

The time’s now right - and he leaps up;
stealthily, silent and unseen
he sits down on her windowsill
green eyes staring with a gleam.

The silvery moon grants him permission
his cat like features now a grin
his body’s giving into submission
anxiously letting metamorphosis begin.

Unearthly things happen – no human could bear
Unearthly screams silent – no human could hear
the black cat’s disappeared, but will return soon
before dawn ends the night and gone is the moon.

Her breathing so peaceful – so deep is her sleep
a beautiful maiden from golden locks down to her feet
her untouched body ‘neath linen’s soft silk
tonight he’ll take her sweet innocence, feeling no guilt.

His body now tall and build like a man’s
she never heard him coming
never been given the chance
unable to fight off his longing.

Slipping next to her invisibly,
without any sound
his spell spreads over her quickly
He knows that she won’t

awaken… not even stir.
Tonight he owns her .
His victim.

His prey.

Time’s standing still now, it’s part of his sin

the master of darkness caresses her skin
his roaming mouth wears a devilish frown
his gluttonous eyes ripping away her gown.

Before him lay a beauty chaste,
with breasts so plum and lips to taste
she writhes beneath him dreaming sweet
unaware of this Halloween night’s beast.

Inhuman claws gripping tight and keep ‘er

he enters her depth just to plunge even deep’er
with every stroke he seizes her purity
and steals her unsullied maiden’s quiddity.

His wet tongue slithers over her neck
his fangs grow longer and he can’t hold back,
her skin ruptures easy and she tastes so good
her vein gives away and he indulges her blood.

Lastly his raging lust peaks into zenith
his diabolical mask just a lecherous grimace,
his poisoning seed pours into her  virtuous womb
with this act completed she will forever be doomed.

The moral of this story sweet and little:
On Halloween’s night we humans are brittle.
Keep your windows closed, especially though
when you’ll hear a black cat’s faint ‘Miau’…

The legend of the black cat lives on I see. Friend to all that is evil and bubbles up from the under world where demons and witches reign....

Be safe,
Karen

I often wondered what the black side of a cocoon and its butterfly might be like --never thought of a vampire’s delight. WOW, so tantalizingly, tasty, with strong overtones of lavish ravishment. Yes, the “diabolicals” will surely sound off in diacritic melody of 666 over this one. Excellent craftsmanship !! Don, Dream Weaver
