We’ns, From Scratch?!
djbeaulieu
If one wishes to truly make some thing from scratch
don’t they realize that they must make the universe first.1
And, so it is: of what we dream, what we think, and what we create.
Can it be, that it is just
a reforming of what already exist – somewhere?
Except for you, yourself,
you are from scratch, from a big bang they say
and
your parent’s intended love?
Of no importance, they say-
that was only a split nanosecond’s worth.
Not worth the thought!
That is all it took to bring you and me into existence?
A “Big Bang,” or was it a Bang, Bang?
Now it is up to us – you and me.
Where did I come from?
How did I get into this picture you wonder?
Me too, but, non-the-less I’m here in this poem too;
right beside you.
Yah, you and me and the shade trees. the streams,
the bird, the flowers, the lizards, and Poo.
From no where, from nothing, imagine that!
Puff and we are here!
I love magic; don’t you?
“Abracadabra,” and we’re here!
It’s a “hell” of an illusion don’t you think?!
