Snow -sweet * Cold- crape
djbeaulieu
I like to watch the snow descend ever so softly,
to lay gently on the cold, cold, cold, cold ground.
I like to see it freshly sleeping on the surface
of this beautiful earth.
I like to romp and touch it, to feel it run over my palm
and drip onto the snow blanket below.
Oh, but not its cold, not it’s cold.
I like to watch the icicles drip
and leave their droplet foot prints
below them in the cold, cold, cold snow.
Winter can be beautiful beyond measure,
but for me I measure its cold, its frigidness.
I really dislike the cold incase you did not know!!!!
I like a soft hand, a warm smile,
the gleam in her eyes,
the sweet smile on her face,
I like her gentle whisper as it tickles my heart
with her love
while we watch the heat flicker
from the fire place slightly above.
May be I do like winter
Not, may be just its indoor activities.

... but I did like your poem, too.

Personally, I prefer the cold. Just love that snuggling!
