I read this and then listened..POWERFUL..I think fear kills the mind and spirit and we all need to learn to get past it because what humans fear they kill..lots of people fear anything that is different than themselves instead of embracing and learning from..this was my first time at your site and I am duly impressed by your talent.

as a dune fan the title drew me in..."fear is the mind killer" is a truth that has echoed forth since i first stumbled upon herbert's series. this is a powerful mix of concept and execution...your audios continue to progress. confronting fear in whatever corners of our mind it may reside is an ongoing struggle in life. lately i'm seeing fear and negativity as residue of conditioning and judgments that we tend to cling to. is there really anything to fear but fear itself? but as i say that i find myself sometimes moving forward and at others sliding back.
Powerful and electrifying poetry Mark! You used the line "Only thing to fear is fear itself"...However fear is a barometer that we need to respect....Like with everything there is a duality of good and bad fear...It is good to have a healthy fear of things we know can be harmful to us. Obsessive fear is bad and hopefully we learn to have a balance in all things including fear.Very creative Mark!Fantastic recital....wish I could do mine that clearly;-)

soul free. It is right there inside you. All right, I sometimes fail to follow my own advice. Let Fear call the shots. All that is needed is to take more steps forward than back. . .stomp right over that evil such-and-so, Fear.

I think it truly is, Mark. Someone recently proclaimed that the biggest disease in the 21st Century - may be the fear - of life itself.
"How much fear should we put into fear itself?"
To fear something only means that something is unknown to us. When we finally analyze what is it that we fear, we won't fear it anymore.
