The 70's and 80's

 "All Played Out"

 
Whilst the babes were asleep in their cots
And the playpens were empty
Mothers were anxiously waiting for their teens
to come home
But they were out and about
ready to party and dance their hearts out
Fathers ready to ground them
But they didn't care
They had all the fun of the fair
And were on a mission to get nowhere
near home
The lure of the Disco lights and sound
Echoed all around
The air was crisp
As Nightlife was found
And danced and partied to the ground
