Rose Champagne we will share!

 

Euphoric feelings the body craves,
 
Real life embraces like a holiday, 
 
Precious moments o' so crisp,
 
Birds of freedom to fly away.
 
Feeling my lover’s soft kiss,
 
Sweeter than air do I dream,
 
Blindfolded Cherry’s pure bliss,
 
Luscious lips licking whipped cream.

My AD friend, Carol Surber, used the words "precious moments" in a review of my poem, "Stolen Moments." This inspired me and seemed so much closer to what I originally had in my heart. This is the new poem that arose from the ashes of the old one. It just took my friend's two words to help me bring it out. That's what I love about this place. Friends. Thanks Carol and Eli!
