Dedicated to the writings of our dear Tom Hyland.Your wit and wisdom are jewels to my heart!

Tom Hyland, my friend,

You write Cracker-Jack,
Cocktails of  "my words!",
Esteemed concoctions all,
Steamed crabs, cold beer,

Filling our glasses tall,

Sharing, your mind-tripping,

Dusty old volumes of lore,

Bawlmerish Edgar A. Poe,

Who like the dear Lenore,

Ah, broken is the golden bowl!
Whose spirit flown forever!
Perhaps he is Nevermore!

 Poe, would happily quoth thee,

With his Raven's signature caw!

Whether single-space or double,

Fill us up again, TK, kind Sir,

Frothing at the mouth,

From your literary jaw.

Cranky and crusty
Witty and musty
Don't always agree
But he's always quite trusty

His words are a few of my favorite things.

Great tribute to one of our finest curmudgeons!

ROCKIE ... WOW ! I am Honored!

I don't remember any prior poem dedicated to me -
and actually listing my name in the Title.

I personally think there are many others here at AD who are much more
wittier, and more deserving than I.

i just get 'goofy' ideas that must be captured! I pray I don't let you down!

A Happy & Healthy New Year to You & Yours!

Peace ... TK ...
