changes inside and outside. The way of the play we call life

 SUN-DAY

Its Sunday afternoon and all is quiet

Except for the rustle of papers as I sort through the pile

Collected as I moved through the week

I hoped that your moments at Service today was fulfilling and uplifting

As always I was there with you in spirit

I took my baby to airport this morning at 5:00 AM

And watched the plane like only a mother would as she went on her way

Knowing , but not really accepting the deeper meaning that this journey holds

I drove home quietly and calmly

Observing as I drove along the things not seen during the weekday trek

As I drove into the complex a thought you placed in my mind return to my consciousness

A new experience I should have or maybe something else

What about something enjoyed and beneficial that has long been ignored

I decided to drive to the beach and watch the Sunday morning Sunrise.

As I sat on the cool morning sand

Silently watching the horizon

As its color changed from dark hue to crisp amber

I thought about the changes that were happening in my own life

And how they reflect the changes that was taken place in front of my eyes

I thought about you and the love I feel for you

And I thank God in my finite manner and idiotic words

I told the Creator how grateful I was for the being  that you are

I asked about my reason for being and how I desperately wanted to

successfully complete the task I have been assigned

The conversation was a good one

I terrible want to do the task assigned to me

As I talked I realized how much, in my own finite way I love my Creator

I am always amazed at the awesomeness of the GOD

It is something about being at the oceans that faithfully reminds me of my

Creator’s greatness and a Love that defies all human explanation and

mystify all our understanding

This morning I looked at the Ocean and its vastness and the sun as it

burned its way through dawn skies. And then I say the tiny birds on the

ground and in the sky and I thought, one power created the mighty raging

sea and the gentle little creatures picking through the sand for their daily

bread

The thought so swelled in my heart that I felt its attempt to burst through

with love, joy wonderment and amazement

I felt the tears fill my eyes as my inability to comprehend it all flood my soul

I thank you for your suggestion and for allowing me to shared a moment with you
