As Shadows on a Wall Our love, CC, So remote, so improbable. As shadows on a wall, if we dared to tell who would not warn, who would not say, ridicules, ridicules to feel this way. So many miles and so many years, we’ve not seen the face of our love, nor felt the touch of the other’s hand, nor the sense of our lips that have never touched, nor the press of our bodies that in our dreams warm us. As shadows on a wall, our love. But as shadows on a wall, my love.

Probably, shadows are the only ones that can cover distances and be a bridge between two points. Not a very reassuring words to love starving heart, and yet, the only ones that can make sense.
The sadistic Fate go on twisting hearts.
