Touchless Romance

  Touchless Romance 

 

Her featured name coming up on Authors Den list today

though we had mutually agreed to limit contact,

though

there had been no contact

for days

though our minds are now

adjusted to the knowledge

that our long distance,

sightless,

touch-less romance must end,

did end...

Still,

when her name came up

my eyes were drawn to

her name

and there came a heaviness to my heart

and a deep sadness to my mind

and

yes,

we both know this is best

and

yes,

we both know this is the only outcome,

yet,

when her name came up on Authors Den...

Mark I feel as though I have known you forever and this saddens my heart for I feel you should have all the love and happiness in your life and it hurts to see her name. Very well put into words.

It is sad when a love must end of any type and yes seeing someones name is often as traunatic as actually bumping into the person on the street...you captured this topic well.
