Night shadows

have you close to me.

Your arm draped onto my bare hip

my hand flat upon the coolness of your outside thigh.

The warmth of your naked breasts held softly onto my back,

your sleeping breath warm upon the nape of my neck.

Whereupon in my sleep I turn and now hold you closely, tightly onto my chest as...

As then the part of me that was asleep now awakens

and within the realm of our slumber I find you

and you are warmly, moistly open to me

as now...

Deeply together

the heat that surrounds me surrounds

not only my torrid, hardened flesh but my soul.

Into the shadows of the night, I whisper,

 “I love you.”

And into the shadows of the night

feeling your breath warm onto my lips...

Into the shadows of the night

I hear you whisper,

“I love you.”

In night shadows

deeply together,

entwined,

we slumber.
