A friend asked me to write a song about him. If the song is strange...well then, so is my friend. The moral here is, becareful what you ask for, you just might get it. (actually, he liked the song and thought it most accurate.)

Starlight fallin'
a million miles to Earth--
Born out of time,
I cannot measure its worth--
I am the cold of
darkness, the kiss of the light--
I am a ghost, a
shadow within the night--
Strange are the fires
Burnin' in my eyes--
Come to me now--
I'll comfort you with my lies.
Drink from my soul this
incandescent madness--
Draw me to shore
wherever pleasure dances--
You will regret
all that you never do--
When silence sets in
the solitude can kill you--
Strange are the fires
burnin' in my eyes--
Come to me now,
I'll comfort you with my lies--
(Insert a really cool instrumental riff here and repeat chorus one last time and you can put this baby to rest.
I hope you liked it.)
