I think i've somehow been involved in that equation before; one doesn't work without the other. neither less nor more. A complex pause in the mundane. thought provoking piece, enjoyed.

There is something profoundly pensive about the expansive philosophy latent within the lines of this linear sequential summation. Something about a unity of one which sees the individual united in a larger whole than the sum of its parts might suggest, and then that one whole uniting with another united entity, sometimes known as the Holy Trinity... now that three in one unites with the other one to make the unstoppable, indomitable, insurmountable, indefatiguable, indivsible one to end all ones forevermore... now that's one cup that is running over... (or in German: Ein Stein!) ... but it don't take a genius to see that it all adds up to one hell of a story, and it takes one to know one!

I like that Budd said the math does work out. I enjoyed the zoom-in, zoom-out of this piece. It would make a great painting. So much is shuffled into this deck, especially stanza three posing a person's identification/equivalation to the ants' situation. Three repetitions of the word "seeming" certainly put a spin on the truth of their 'not' being any of those states. Our favorite theme: oneness. Love the lightening of the coffee, more yin with yang equals gray. ~~ Diana
