Sometimes a work of art can take give rise to unexpected questions of the mind. Such was the case on first viewing Vladimir Kush’s “Sunrise by the Ocean.”

Epiphanies In Progress
by Odin Roark
Epiphanies in progress hold firm
as fissures of the interminable,
carve warm fluid fiords,
paths through history’s debris,
the ever-present reminder of happenstance,
a universe of questionable life,
floating in infinite wonder,
time’s perpetual vortex of secrets unrevealed.
For some…
The questions never rest,
confronting manufactured dogma as too simple,
unwilling to abandon deeper inquiry,
even though answers may beget more questions.
Incitement remains tenacious,
holding reality never lies,
that among endless beginnings,
eventual verity provides the light,
diminishing long cast shadows.
Perhaps such pursuit of the truth will reveal
still more random cracks in the translucent shell of creation,
beneath which more eggs-ethereal continue to be nurtured,
spawning yet more of the unanswerable.
Patience sighs.
To my mind, questions always beget more questions - Is it not the nature of the beast!
