Grounding Angst
As more appointments to Trumps administration shock us, one can only hope one can ground their anger… like me. (Sorry if I insult the misled, but there are those who think I’m an elitist. ) Image by Trend Hunter

Grounding Angst
by Odin Roark
How patient disgruntles.
How anxious frustration.
How volatile anger.
Yet…
There are times
when the precious heart essence
can’t hold its peace intact.
Such are those moments
when behavior of another human being
belies the humanness of our species.
Like the moment before impact,
when we humans of consciousness know
there’s nothing can be done for 4 years,
we pause and struggle.
The concussion of an ignorant election.
The trauma of its aftermath.
The coma we all wish we could indulge.
The awakening to more than the same,
as white supremacy, bigotry and evil power
attempts to guide this country of greatness into
another version of something we know not of.
Such is the PTSD anticipated
for the days following January 20, 2016,
when the sun will not shine,
the clouds will cease to nurture our thirst,
the soil of our labors will be sucked of its natural nutrients,
when the massive dust storm of rightness, blown to hell, will coat the country,
a storm that we have only ourselves to blame.
PS – C’mon Sessions, you KKK wanna-be and the future Secretary of State , get rid of
that silly red Trump hat. That even insults our allies,
let alone the bulls in your arena merely staring at you and Trump with disbelief.
