Ever in Motion

Wanting
As ripened fruit
                          I awoke

Falling toward other beginnings
Choices unbridled
                         I knew

Warm hands met me
Waiting sounds
                          I heard

Soft urges
Anxious voices
Holding my inborn stillness
                          I traveled

With cries of birth
I decreed my death
Sun did shine
Rains did come
                            I lived

Collecting earth-time
Singing its experience
Clock hands began their hesitation
Movement ever cautious
                            I'm ready

Archives labeled
Summoned filings completed
Make of my heart
A final expansion
Into the next ever living
Ever in motion

As I read the first three stanzas I pictured my dreams last night that kept me wondering if I was going to survive… Watching the clock.

But in the last stanza I see you perpetuating the strong belief that there are other lives to live after this one. I really do doubt it.
