To be selective
To show one cared
One spent life in devotion
Found expressions
In music
In paintings
In writings
In the final touch to another’s hand
Such becomes glimmerings of the past
From the attic of the mind
The cherished feelings of the heart
Endowments that create ancestry
Worth commemorating
Often challenged by the greedy
Made to float above the wisdom of the caring
The halo of always alive
Mindful whispers from the past
A love forever hovering with honesty
Existence joyfully transitioning
Into its next means of being
Perhaps an attachment
Atop a shooting star
Destination
