Love’s Destiny

Happiness can be oh so short

But oh, so lasting.

To think one is loved,

To perhaps doubt such at a later date,

Can’t extinguish the fire of belief.

Love’s happiness can be designed

To last,

Or

To teach,

Or

To give respite to aloneness,

Or

Be what it needed to be

One time,

Long ago,

In the yesterday

Of

Yesterdays

That will live through

The

Tomorrow

Or tomorrows.

For

Love is forever

Even when it’s not present beside happiness.
