“To avert ones’ own damage” — what an arresting line!! This ‘Making Peace’ feels good to read, because of the gentleness of the words solicitude and harmony, yet allows me to wonder . . . . what is true-to-life? Meditative language to counter the unharmonic days we are living. ~~ djl

Your words stress the importance of body/mind, Odin, and they do it so well. It seems there is an epidemic of hatred in this country. It's so much easier to love. Thank you for this offering.

Your short offering shows the futility of anger and hatred leading the charge of life. Life is much better for everyone if we just learn to reach out and touch others, learn what they need and try to help everyone have peace and tranquility.

Some will call that unrealistic because they think they know human nature, when they really don't.

"True-to-life..." If you mean representing things, actions or conditions as they actually are, then... well.... But if you mean being bold and having the gumption to be yourself, despite the idiots and insanity around you, then yes. IMO, finding harmony is one of those things most important in life. Getting rid of the unnecessary, protecting yourself and those you love, embracing others who encourage growth and make you think, not only about life, but about yourself as well. Harmony with these kinds of people (I've learned) boost our ability to create and communicate more sincerely, honestly, and kindly. Something that is sorely lacking in this world.
