Of late, I have found rewarding lucid dreams. One, in particular, returns for a visit often. (Image AI built)

 Nocturnal Carousels

Sleep-talking into the night,

into the heart of the fairground,
where laughter spins with the lights.

Can I meet you on the carousel

where dreams ride on painted horses?

Round and round, we’ll chase the invisible dust,
childhood whispers,

 and cotton candy skies.

Your smile, a beacon in the whirl,
guides me through the dizzying dance.

Each turn, a story we shared,
each rise and fall, our heartbeats remain in sync.

With the music of the calliope,
our laughter blends with the night.

Hold on tight, as the world blurs by,
in this moment, we are infinite.

May I meet you again on the carousel,
where time stands still, and we are free from adulthood

to ride the clouds of our childhood innocence?

A fine reflection of the sweet innocence that children experience while riding a carousel at a summer fair ground. We have all experienced such and "as the world blurs by," we "felt the infinite." Yes indeed.
