Night Watch

The Crescent Moon shines
     on the dark sea
 In tranquility.

Moon light shimmers as the night waves break
    On a silent lake.

The Moon is so still
    as creatures sleep
Within the deep.

The Moon promises soon 
    that night will be done --
 The Sun will come.

 How quiet is the night -- moon lit night
      When all seems right!
