An Easter Praise

by Connie Amarel — Read all 7 poems by Connie Amarel

A special poem for Easter

Saturday, February 25, 2017

AN EASTER PRAISE

How many beads of sweat because of me were lost?

And how can I forget the pain my sins have cost?

For there upon the cross You suffered and You died,

Were buried and arose, and now with GOD abide.

I love to praise Your name, most Holy One Divine.

The death You overcame caused Heaven to be mine.

A thoughtful and faith filled poetic endeavor. All believers should be consumed by the thought of going to the Lords mansions. Of course most of us only think these thoughts at certain times of our lives. Which I think is normal. I hope to be among that select when my life has run it's course. Bob
