Yet you hide
Closed doors.
Closed hearts.

I want to hear you
Yet you're silent
Quiet minds.
Quiet spirits.

I want to love you
Yet you hate me
Broken souls.
Broken dreams.

I want to keep you
Yet you're slipping
Fading bonds.
Fading emotions.

I want to know you
Yet you're a stranger
Crying eyes.
Crying hearts.
