Unexpectedly she comes to me
With a look of anticipation
Her face is a joy to behold
Those beautiful eyes
See all
Sense all
Know all.
She slides so effortlessly
Onto my lap
And kisses me softly.
Then she twists and
Snuggles closer
Wiggling her well proportioned
Butt against all things
Discoverable in my lap.
She knows my needs
Perfectly.
She caresses my thighs
With the tenderness
Of a thousand years
Of knowledge and
Skills.
Back to her eyes
So innocent
So probing
So tender.
We connect on the
Most intimate level
Where words are
Not needed.
The joy of being
Of giving
Of sharing
Is complete.
My heart is pounding
As I move closer
To inhale this moment
To make it a part of
My soul.
Just when my mind
My body and
My soul are about
To explode
She whispers in
My ear.
At first I do not hear
Then she repeats
Her plea:
“Meow.”
She purrs and
Speaks in a clear voice:
“Feed me, dammit
I’m hungry.”

I could see it coming from the very beginning. I don't know about purring, but I read recently that cats like to rub up against us in order to mark their territory. From your poem, I can guess what territory Teri marked.
