She wears petals on her neck

a silhouette of perfection

catching moonlight in the corner of her eyes

Her tears hidden by the rain

the same colour as the sparkle

placed on her finger

Somewhere above

crimson leaves flutter like heartbeats

from dreamy branches

With their lips delicately pressed

Breathless

He whispered

We will still be holding hands

when we take our place

as glitter

amongst the stars
