Essence of Time

Time seemed to pass through my hands like sand.

In a desire to understand,

Time

Completely

The following vision was revealed to Me:

I remember, as a Child, how I loved each day.
Time was like my Mother, patient and kind,
She taught me a lot in Her own timely way.

As my teen years began, I saw Time with different eyes,
exposed to pain and sorrow, Time was no longer patient and kind,
Time was no longer like my Mother.
Time was not always bad or sad; in fact I would have to say,
That during my teen years
Time was like my first Lover.
Urgent and quick tempered
And yet
Loving and so tender,
This was the Time that I Love to remember.

Becoming an Adult, Time made a change in my life,
Fearing I would not have her for long,
I wanted Time to be my Wife.
I asked for Her hand and was amazed to see
Time was not alone, she had Two Sisters
Together
They made Three.
For awhile we were happy, but alas it could not last
unhappy with my Life,
too focused on the Time of my Past.
I knew I was wrong but I continued on that Path
My Way
Till
That Day
Time unleashed Her wrath.

On a Crossroads I stand
While Time stands still.
Down each Path I scan
seeing the Sisters Three:
Future
Present
Past
I reached for the Present Time, but She refused to take My hand.
Looking beyond Present Time, I was able to see
Infinite choices of Future Time
A Vision of beauty.
Turning around
I found
My Time of the Past
That Voice
Those Eyes
Past Time had intoxicated Me.
Unable to resist
I began to submit,
no longer any desire to be Free.
Here I stayed
shifting between Future and Past
this did not last
for one day on the Path
standing firmly before Me
stood the Father of the Three:
Mr. Karmic Destiny
With a wave of His hand
he said sternly to Me
“Which of my Daughters do you choose?
you cannot have all Three”.
I thought of reaching back to the Time of the Past
had she not always been there when I needed her most?
“Wait”
I had to ask
Future
If I choose you
what of the promise of our Path?
“A promise I cannot make for my Heart belongs to Fate
unless you choose the right
Future
to take”.

“Stop”!
Karmic Destiny
Shouted
“This has to end
make up your mind
you have already taken up too much of My Time”.
Turning again
taking her hand
the Past
as I bid her farewell
“With all of my Heart, I will remember you well”.
Looking ahead
Future standing in front of Me.
“Well it must be
Me
you choose
you let go of the Past because you knew She could not last
come with Me
and you will see
a journey through
Eternity”.
“Ah but wait
does not your Heart belong to Fate?
I knew exactly what I had to do
“Be my Wife
share my Life”
To Present Time I made this plea.
“I will accept your Love, but your Wife I cannot be.
My Love is there for All of those who wish to spend there Life with Me”.
“I will never leave your side, if you do not leave mine,
Together forever
through
Infinity
I will not mind
as long as you do not forget about Me,
if you continue to see the other Two of the Three”.
Here I stand, holding Time by the Hand
Would you
